Hanoi Ao Dai Tourism Festival 2025 Concludes in Spectacle of Culture and Style

CaliToday (10/11/2025): The 2025 Hanoi Ao Dai Tourism Festival concluded on Sunday night (November 9) in a vibrant closing ceremony at the prestigious Hanoi Museum, capping off a highly successful four-day celebration of Vietnamese culture and fashion.

The event, which drew thousands of locals and international tourists, has been hailed as a resounding success in achieving its dual mission: honoring the timeless elegance of the Ao Dai (Vietnam's traditional long dress) and promoting the capital city's image as a unique and welcoming travel destination.

Over the four days, Hanoi's public spaces were transformed into runways and stages for the iconic garment. The festival featured a dazzling array of activities, including elaborate fashion shows from top Vietnamese designers, exhibitions on the history of the Ao Dai, and large-scale public performances.

A major highlight was the mass participation, which saw thousands of women, from students to city officials, don their Ao Dais, creating a colorful and graceful spectacle against the backdrop of Hanoi's ancient landmarks.

City tourism officials praised the event for its significant contribution to cultural promotion. By skillfully weaving the story of the Ao Dai into the fabric of the city's tourism industry, the festival not only celebrated a national symbol but also reinforced Hanoi's brand as a "City for Peace" rich in heritage and style.

As the curtains closed on the 2025 festival, it solidified its role as a cornerstone event in Hanoi's cultural calendar, successfully blending national pride with a modern, outward-looking vision for tourism.
