TRUMP: "Blackwell is America's Pride" — Touts 10-Year Tech Lead as China "Terminates Relationship" with Nvidia

Aboard Air Force One, the president declared that his "America First" policies have ensured U.S. dominance in semiconductors, rendering China's move irrelevant as U.S. markets hit "all-time highs."

ABOARD AIR FORCE ONE (Oct 28, 2025): President Donald Trump, speaking to reporters on Air Force One, declared Nvidia's new Blackwell chip a "vivid testament to America's unmatched ingenuity," sending a clear message that the U.S. now leads the rest of the world by "at least 10 years" in critical semiconductor technology.

The president proudly recounted a recent meeting that symbolized this dominance.

"You know, in most industries, people can copy and do all sorts of things. But not with chips. The rules here are completely different," Trump explained. "Blackwell just came out; Jensen Huang gave me the first Blackwell chip right in the Oval Office, just three days ago. It’s an extraordinary achievement, and that is our America."

He then made a bold strategic claim: "With advanced, highly sophisticated chips, we are about 10 years ahead of the rest of the world. I think we might be discussing this with President Xi."

China "Terminates" Nvidia, U.S. Markets Soar

When asked about reports that Beijing has forbidden its domestic enterprises from purchasing the powerful new Blackwell chips, President Trump confirmed the news but immediately dismissed its impact, pointing to U.S. economic resilience.

"China has terminated its relationship with Nvidia that's a big deal," Trump acknowledged. "But in the meantime, Nvidia hit a new high, and as you know, the stock market yesterday reached the highest level in history."

The president used the moment to pivot to the overall strength of the U.S. economy, even taking a jab at his domestic political rivals over the ongoing government shutdown.

"All of our markets every market is doing very well. The country is doing very well, even with the government shutdown caused by the Democrats," Trump said. "They'll be back. They're paying a heavy price. All they have to do is say, 'Let's get back to work,' and we'll be back. Nothing to sign, nothing to negotiate."

"America First" Tech Dominance

The president's remarks serve as both a show of national pride and a powerful message that the United States remains firmly in control of the high-tech sector, regardless of geopolitical trade tensions.

Analysts suggest that China's move to sever ties with Nvidia will only solidify America's "monopoly" in AI, supercomputing, and advanced semiconductors, as no other nation currently has the capability to catch up to the Blackwell platform.

According to many experts, President Trump's tariff policies and his "America First, American Tech" focus have successfully driven a flow of high-tech capital and production back to the United States, allowing the U.S. economy to "outrun its rivals while still growing strong."
