CaliToday (07/9/2025): The Politburo of the Communist Party of Vietnam has officially appointed Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet to the position of Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee. Mr. Triet, who previously served as the Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee, now assumes the most powerful political post in the major coastal city.
The announcement was made following a decision by the country's highest political body, reflecting a significant move in the leadership of one of Vietnam's key economic and tourism hubs.
In Vietnam's single-party political system, the Secretary of the Party Committee is the highest-ranking official in a province or centrally-governed city.
