Tapping into this magical time of year, Vietnam Airlines, in partnership with the Hanoi People's Committee, has launched an ambitious new campaign titled "A Touch of Hanoi Autumn" (Chạm Thu Hà Nội).

Announced on September 23, the campaign is a curated journey through a series of sporting, cultural, and musical events designed to showcase a capital city that is both elegantly classic and vibrantly youthful—a place deeply rooted in local identity yet open and integrated with the world.

Each event is conceptualized as a unique "touchpoint" (chạm), an opportunity to connect with the memories, emotions, and love that define Hanoi.

From Sporting Spirit to Sustainable Skies

The campaign offers a diverse itinerary that invites both locals and tourists to engage with the city in new and meaningful ways. The journey begins with a focus on community and tradition:

  • A Touch of Love (September 28): The "Run For Love" community race will bring people together, their footsteps harmonizing for a shared humanitarian goal, fostering a sense of unity and compassion.

  • A Touch of West Lake (October 5): The city's iconic West Lake will come alive with the Dragon Boat and SUP Festival. This event masterfully blends long-standing traditions with modern water sports, showcasing a historic landmark as a hub of contemporary energy.

  • A Touch of Sustainability (October 6): The "Light Flight to Hanoi" initiative highlights a commitment to responsible tourism. This special journey is designed to raise awareness about green travel and our collective responsibility to protect the environment.

Harmonies in the Heart of the Capital

Music forms the soulful core of the "A Touch of Hanoi Autumn" experience, offering profound moments of reflection and connection.

The "Vietnam Airlines Classic - Hanoi Concert" (October 10-11) promises a "gentle touch" of classical music, creating an elegant and serene atmosphere right in the heart of the city's historic Old Quarter.

Later, the "5AM Concert" (scheduled for November) will offer a unique dawn experience. This event is designed as a meeting point between the traditional and the contemporary, where the sounds and emotions of a modern generation intersect with the timeless beauty of a Hanoi sunrise.

More Than an Airline: A Cultural Ambassador's Vision

According to Vietnam Airlines CEO, Le Hong Ha, the campaign is about much more than just promoting travel. "The program aims to create meaningful journeys, where every step is a 'touchpoint' with the culture, nature, and people of Hanoi," he stated. "Through these experiences, we hope to spread the image of a friendly and hospitable Vietnam to our international friends."

This initiative is a cornerstone of a larger strategic vision. Nguyen Manh Quyen, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee, explained that the campaign stems from a cooperation agreement between the city and the airline for the 2025-2030 period. The partnership is focused on promoting sustainable socio-economic development and elevating Hanoi's tourism brand on the global stage.

As a highlight of the broader Hanoi Autumn Festival, the campaign solidifies Vietnam Airlines' role not just as a national carrier, but as a dedicated cultural ambassador.

"Each event is a 'touch' of memory, of a love for Hanoi," the organizers stated. "It contributes to painting a portrait of a capital that is both classic and young, rich in local character but no less open and integrated."
